GARAGE BIENNALE (2003-09)

The Garage Biennale was an experiment in alternative art contexts, an expression of generosity and a rare intersection between public and private space. Between the years 2003 and 2009, the project combined a family space with an open public programming series of monthly one-night-only exhibitions, events and happenings. The program culminated in a nine-hour performance art marathon called the 100 Performances for the Hole. This catalog combines a full list of exhibitions, curators and collaborators here with writing by Justin Hoover, Terri Cohn and Paul Kos.
